Minal has been a member of the Executive since January 2007. Minal completed her BA(Hons)/LLB at Melbourne University in 1991 and was admitted to practice in November 1993. Minal completed a Masters of Law, specialising in family law and evidence, withMonash University in 1997.
Minal was employed as a solicitor with Slater and Gordon in the areas of personal injury and class actions until she joined its family law section in 1995. Minal signed the Bar Roll in November 1997 and has since then practiced exclusively in family law and related jurisdictions.
Minal has presented papers on evidence on family law for the Victorian Legal Aid CLE programs. She has also taught at advocacy workshops and at training for Independent Children's Lawyers.
