LANDER & ROGERS
Kate is a Partner at national law firm Lander & Rogers and one of the youngest lawyers appointed to partnership in the firm’s Family and Relationship Law team. She practises exclusively in family law and has over a decade of experience advising on complex parenting disputes and high‑value property matters, including those involving corporate, trust, and third‑party interests. She also maintains a substantial practice advising on Binding Financial Agreements both prior to and during relationships.
Before specialising in family law, Kate practised in estate, commercial, and property law, experience which continues to inform her approach to complex financial proceedings. She has practised across Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, and Townsville, and brings a strong understanding of the practical realities facing family law practice in both metropolitan and regional settings.
Kate has a longstanding interest in legal reform and community engagement. She is a long‑term volunteer with the Women Lawyers Society of Queensland, has previously volunteered with the LGBTI Legal Service and the Pyjama Foundation, and served as a committee member of Althea Projects.
