50^th Anniversary Ceremonial Sittings of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) – Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane

In February this year, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) (the Court) celebrated its 50^th Anniversary. This significant milestone was marked with a commemorative 50^th Anniversary ceremonial sitting at Owen Dixon Commonwealth Law Courts in Melbourne, Victoria.

In recognition of the significance of this occasion, state-based 50^th Anniversary ceremonial sittings will be held in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane in August and September. The ceremonial sittings will be followed by the Family Law Section’s Practitioners’ Dinners, hosted by the Law Council of Australia.

Members of the Family Law Section and Law Council of Australia are invited to attend each of the 50^th Anniversary ceremonial sittings and the Family Law Sections Practitioners’ Dinners, which will be held on the following dates:
