A strong national voice for family lawyersCommitted to advancing the profession, the Family Law Section works efficiently with external stakeholders including elected representatives, policy makers, the courts and government agencies to achieve this goal. On behalf of members the Section advocates, recommends and responds to initiatives concerning legislative change and procedural reforms.

National Family Law ConferenceDiscounted registration to the biennial National Family Law Conferences. This Conference brings together representatives from government, the judiciary, academia, non-government organisations, the practicing profession and many associated disciplines from all parts of Australia and from many parts of the world. From very small beginnings in Hobart in 1984, the Conference has grown to become by far the largest regular event in the Australian legal calendar. The next conference will be held in Adelaide from 27-30 April 2021 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. |
