The Michael Taussig QC Family Law Award commemorates the life and contributions of Michael Taussig QC, one of the Section’s most outstanding members.

The Award is presented biennially at the National Family Law Conference.

Applications for the 2024 Michael Taussig QC Family Law Award are now open to Junior Lawyers (0 - 4 years post-admission)! Please review the application guidelines carefully, and be sure to include a completed application form with your submission.

We are excited to invite you to our 2023 conference, which will be held on 31 August in Hobart and marks 10 years since we first started gathering.

This is an annual event and aims to stimulate and push our thinking so we, family law professionals from the Pacific region, are challenged to focus on better meeting the needs of the children and families we serve in the family court process.
